Sarracenia x Scarlett Belle is a result of a cross between S. leucophylla and S. psittacina. The rounded white pitchers have a narrow hood and are vividly patterned with intricate burgundy veining. The pitchers grow almost horizontally to the ground forming a flattened rosette comprising of many pitchers. The plant produces a small, fragrant flower in spring before the pitchers are formed.
Size Grows approximately 20cm tall and 35. wide.
Light Sun-loving plant. Requires a minimum of 5 hours full sunlight a day in the growing season.
Water Stand in a saucer containing 3-4 centimeters of water. Let plant drink from the bottom. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Use mineral free water such as rain, reverse osmosis or distilled water for optimum plant health.
Dormancy Plant goes dormant in winter. Reduce water to twice a week and place plant in a cooler spot.
