Sarracenia X Fiona

Sarracenia x Fionais a very attractive perennial producing a rosette of graceful, hooded pitchers. The base of the pitchers are green while the tops have a flared hood with pretty pink colours and patterns. In spring, the pitchers that emerge are pale green and pink, maturing to wine red later in the season. Dark red flowers are produced in spring

 Size Adult pitchers can reach up to about 30 cm tall.

Light Sun-loving plant. Requires a minimum of 5 hours full sunlight a day in the growing season.

Water  Stand in a saucer containing 3-4 centimeters of water. Let plant drink from the bottom. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Use mineral free water such as rain, reverse osmosis or distilled water for optimum plant health.

Dormancy  Plant goes dormant in winter. Reduce water to twice a week and place plant in a cooler spot.
